Dr. Taylor Krueger

Dr. Taylor Krueger is a native Houstonian who has been with the Rice Village Animal Hospital team since 2022. He was drawn to veterinary medicine after volunteering at a local animal shelter. Caring for his beloved first dog, Riley, during undergrad then led Dr. Krueger to pursue his education at  Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies. While there, he enjoyed island life and built a vast network of colleagues across the U.S. Keeping in regular contact with his peers challenges him to strive for excellence in veterinary medicine. Dr. Krueger finished his clinical year at Texas A&M and graduated from Ross in 2014. 

Since receiving his DVM, Dr. Krueger has practiced in Houston and Sugar Land. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, preventative medicine, shelter medicine, and education. Dr. Krueger is also a part of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), Harris County Veterinary Medical Association (HCVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the American Heartworm Society.

His personal interests include hanging out with his dog Brody (13-year-old Australian Kelpie), camping, hiking, fishing, cooking/grilling, traveling, and enjoying the amazing food in the Houston area with family and friends.
